Relationship Counseling
When clients in relationships first come in, we spend time exploring the connection in the relationship and learning a new language, which can feel “stop ‘n go”. Once you’re able to communicate effectively, we explore the pleasures and challenges of your relationship. We’ll examine the conflicts and often hidden fears/concerns that make a partnership challenging; fortify the (original) friendship at the foundation as we address conflicts; and foster connection and intimacy to rebuild the relationship.
With relationship counseling, we explore the dynamics that contribute to stressful partner and familial relationships. Counseling sessions are safe places to discuss sensitive issues with partner(s)/loved ones, and to work on the anger, fear, hurt, and/or sadness we may be feeling toward others.
